Halt right there, pleb! You think you’re fit to march in phalanx without first having mastered the way of the gladius? You must first practice on the wooden dummy at the castrum before you’re fit for Caesar’s army!

Times and weaponry might change, but fundamentals don’t. If you’re going to be of any use with a rifle, you’ve got to put your hours in at the range first. Norma provides the key thing you’ll need for that with this case of 223 Rem Tactical ammo.

This is essentially the U.S. Army’s M193 ball cartridge: a 55 grain FMJ bullet with a 3,240 fps muzzle velocity. Norma’s more than one century in business have taught them how to cast dense lead cores and lay concentric copper jackets, so you can fairly expect this round’s bullet to maintain a steady trajectory. The bullet’s hard jacket promotes smooth feeding from a magazine before preventing rapid bore fouling, although its inability to expand makes it at once Hague Convention compliant and somewhat less effective for self-defense than a polymer tip bullet.

Norma forges their own brass from high quality copper and zinc in-house, and cuts precision extractor grooves and flash holes for superior reliability and reloadability. These rounds are non-corrosive with Boxer primers and clean burning propellant. If the Romans had this ammo you’d be reading this in Latin right now.
