The fox is a very intelligent animal, but we have yet to meet a fox that can outsmart a bullet.

This 243 Win cartridge by Norma is your ace in the hole the next time you go varmint hunting. That’s because the Swedish manufacturer loaded it with their 76 grain TIPSTRIKE, a bullet that offers the perfect blend of vixen-walloping accuracy and explosive terminal expansion.

This bullet’s orange polymer tip creates a highly streamlined meplat. With its muzzle velocity of 3,445 fps it establishes a 0.332 ballistic coefficient, so it keeps flying faster than 2,500 fps at an impressive 300 yards.

At that same distance the TIPSTRIKE reliably transfers over 1,100 ft lbs of energy, which is far more than you’d need to strike down even the largest coyote. The bullet’s jacket features a raised ring that binds it to its core to promote deeper penetration through hide and soft tissue. The flat-based bullet’s tip briefly sinks into the core following impact, but soon afterward triggers breakneck expansion accompanied by as great as 100 percent energy delivery. It’s dramatic, and it works!

Norma’s factory in Åmotfors produces uniform brass cases and Boxer primers. This non-corrosive round’s clean burning propellant keeps a varminting gun accurate in between cleanings.
