This modern hunting cartridge (which is loaded for safe operation in antique firearms, provided they are in proper working condition) is loaded with Remington’s classic Core-Lokt: a soft point with a jacket that is embedded within its lead core, which ensures deeper penetration by preventing core/jacket separation. The Core-Lokt delivers terminal expansion just as any other SP would, i.e. by letting its flat nose splay out wide on impact.
