In other words, this round’s bullet retains over 1,200 ft lbs of energy at 500 yards – a distance it reaches in just 0.60 seconds.

The Trophy Bonded Tip quite naturally features a bonded jacket. The robust connection between the bullet’s jacket and core provides the superior weight retention it needs to deliver a deep wound channel. The Trophy Bonded Tip’s copper shank wears multiple exterior skives, which help to guide uniform expansion as the polymer tip slams into its underlying nose cavity. Bone-crushing penetration and rapid terminal expansion – the winning combination which drops bucks dead in an instant.

This ammo is loaded with smooth-cycling and corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass cases, as well as Federal’s match-grade Gold Medal primers. Its propellant is formulated with copper-reducing additives to help keep the bullet’s shank from quickly gumming up your rifling!
