Polymer tipped. Bonded. Deadly. This 28 Nosler cartridge by Federal Premium showcases the superior in-flight and terminal ballistics of the Terminal Ascent – one of their most technologically advanced hunting bullets to date!

This round’s 155 grain projectile features the azure Slipstream polymer tip. Alongside the Terminal Ascent’s drag-reducing AccuChannel groove technology and sleek overall profile, the Slipstream tip delivers 0.586 G1 ballistic coefficient (0.300 G7 BC) performance. Sit back and witness the Terminal Ascent’s flat trajectory which delivers nearly 2,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy to a 500-yard target!

Aside from flattening the Terminal Ascent’s trajectory, the Slipstream tip promotes fast expansion following low-velocity impact. Federal’s own tests demonstrate that the Terminal Ascent is able to consistently expand following impact 200 fps slower than other manufacturers’ bullets! And because its copper shank is bonded to its lead core, the Terminal Ascent resists fragmentation which could have caused too shallow a wound channel.

This ammo is loaded with nickel-plated brass cases. Nickel doesn’t just shield against corrosion – it also smooths out feeding and extraction, so you can quickly chamber another round in case the first one didn’t finish the job.
