This round’s bullet is the next generation of the Core-Lokt. It still has the locked-together resilient copper jacket and dense lead core that assure potently deep penetration. But thanks to its “Big Green Tip,” it’s able to deliver more effective terminal expansion than the older soft point design could manage.
The Core-Lokt Tipped bullet’s polymer nose, rearward adjusted center of gravity and sleek jacket profile all work together to deliver match grade accuracy. The 140 grain bullet’s rotational stability, low-drag profile and 3,020 fps muzzle velocity add up to a 0.486 G1 BC – hence its 200-yard trajectory which climaxes at 1.52” (w/1.5” sight height) and 1,500+ ft lbs striking energy at any range within ~450 yards.
