Why is the Remington Premier CuT bullet such a powerhouse? The answer is right there in its name. Cu stands for “Copper” – the only metal the monometal bullet is made of. The T stands for “Tipped” – the polymer spear that streamlines the thing, and forces faster terminal expansion!

This may go without saying, but copper? It’s lead-free. You don’t have to worry about your area’s policy on lead hunting bullets when you’re hunting with this 30-06 ammo. But have you ever put a penny on train tracks so you could watch it become paper thin? That’s copper’s other great blessing. It stretches and deforms without breaking, which is why the Premier CuT bullet easily conserves 95% or more of its weight after impact.

A precision-machined bullet like this one is extremely balanced, symmetrical, and aerodynamic. Those characteristics promote even greater accuracy when they are paired with the Premier CuT bullet’s polymer tip. It streamlines so effectively that the bullet gains a 0.440 G1 BC and the following performance out of a 24” barrel:
0yds: 2,930 fps | 2,860 ft lbs | -1.5”
100yds: 2,718 fps | 2,461 ft lbs | 4.0”
200yds: 2,516 fps | 2,109 ft lbs | 4.7”
300yds: 2,323 fps | 1,797 ft lbs | 0.0”
400yds: 2,138 fps | 1,523 ft lbs | -11.2”
500yds: 1,962 fps | 1,282 ft lbs | -30.0”
600yds: 1,795 fps | 1,073 ft lbs | -57.9”
