Every redneck and his uncle can tell you about Remington’s Core-Lokt series ammunition, which has done great disservice to all manners of large and medium game since its inception in 1939. They may mention that the Core-Lokt bullet features a jacket that is mechanically locked to its lead core, which acts in service of higher weight retention. They may also mention their wish for an even tougher bullet, which consistently retains virtually all of its weight whilst delivering the wide, energetic expansion that kills game quickly.

That’s why every redneck and his uncle needs to know about Remington Core-Lokt Copper. This 30-06 Springfield cartridge is truly lead-free – both in its primer and in its 150 grain solid copper hollow point bullet. The monometal SCHP is far more rigid than any lead-core alternative, which helps it conserve even more deadly momentum upon striking the quarry. No jacket lock needed, because there is no jacket! The SCHP delivers massive, game-stopping terminal expansion as well. And because a monolithic bullet is every bit as sleek as it is balanced, it precedes so much stopping power with excellent accuracy.
