This 30-06 hunting cartridge by Federal Premium isn’t just sporting any old polymer-tipped bullet. You’re looking at the Terminal Ascent – match grade accuracy, stupendous stopping power, Minnesota-made.

The 175 grain Terminal Ascent achieves a muzzle velocity of 2,730 fps. Its AccuChannel groove technology, low-drag Slipstream polymer tip and intensely concentric jacket all work together to produce a 0.520 G1 ballistic coefficient (0.258 G7 BC) which keeps the Terminal Ascent supersonic until approximately 1,232 yards.

That’s astounding long-range performance for a 30-06, and the Terminal Ascent is able to showcase its full terminal ballistics at velocities 200 fps lower than other competing polymer-tipped hunting bullets. The bullet’s thick copper shank and bonded lead core produce deep penetration, and its polymer tip initiates wide expansion accompanied by crippling hydrostatic shock. It’s the definition of one shot, one kill.

These expertly loaded and meticulously inspected hunting cartridges are only made better by their low-friction nickel-plated brass cases. They feed and extract with the same reliability as a German train schedule, and they resist becoming corroded if your hunt treats you to rain.
