We sell very little 30-378 Weatherby Magnum ammunition – let alone lead-free 30-378 Wby Mag. We hope stumbling across this little gem made your day!

It goes without saying that this ammo was made by the world’s leading authority on Roy Weatherby’s designs. The bullet is a .30 cal 180 grain Tipped Triple-Shock X, which is one of Barnes’ exemplary monolithics. Like its predecessor the TSX, the TTSX is packed with performance-enhancing features:
• Precision heel radius, for extreme accuracy
• Accu-Groove channels, which optimize bearing surface and reduce pressure and fouling
• Hollow point cavity, which yields expansion that is equal parts reliable and predictable
• All-copper construction, which ensures impressively high weight retention

The TTSX only deviates from the original design by virtue of its tip; a feature which makes the bullet’s frontal profile even sleeker so as to boost its G1 ballistic coefficient up to 0.484. If we enter the right numbers into a ballistic calculator, it spits out the following illuminating data:
• 0 yds | 3,325 fps | 4,419 ft lbs | -1.5”
• 100 yds | 3,113 fps | 3,875 ft lbs | 2.8”
• 200 yds | 2,912 fps | 3,390 ft lbs | 3.4”
• 300 yds | 2,720 fps | 2,958 ft lbs | 0.0”
• 400 yds | 2,536 fps | 2,571 ft lbs | -8.1”
• 500 yds | 2,359 fps | 2,225 ft lbs | -21.7”
• 600 yds | 2,189 fps | 1,916 ft lbs | -41.5
