This round’s FMJ isn’t designed to do anything fancier than feed, run cleanly through the barrel and fly straight toward its target. Both you and your quarry are probably going to be disappointed if you take this ammo deer hunting. But so long as you don’t need terminal expansion, Winchester’s nonmagnetic, balanced and consistent FMJs will not let you down!
This round’s 147 grain bullet is light enough to hit a muzzle velocity of 1,920 fps. That’s a far sight from subsonic, so don’t expect the suppressor-friendly “pfft” report on ignition. Winchester loads these target shooting cartridges with high-quality brass cases, which are certain to satisfy all the handloaders out there, as well as non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning propellant.
This ammo will not function in 300 Win Mag or 300 WSM rifles.
