This 300 Blackout cartridge by Winchester sports a 200 grain projectile. Its subsonic muzzle velocity of 1,060 fps makes it a perfect solution for firing in areas where loud rifle reports aren’t welcomed, although it will still inflict devastating damage courtesy of its bullet’s hollow point. The bullet’s contoured jacket is bonded tightly to its alloyed lead core, providing for optimal weight retention after impact, and its strategic notching helps to let the bullet mushroom uniformly.

Developed by Advanced Armament Corporation in 2010, the 300 Blackout does a fine job providing ballistics similar to the 7.62×39mm to the civilian AR-15 market.
