That’s right, this 300 Blackout cartridge features Sierra’s MatchKing. As an HPBT it’s designed to serve up the kind of accuracy you need to pick fleas off a vole’s snoot, with a sharp nose profile, ultra concentric jacket, and gracefully tapered base to heighten its ballistic coefficient and rotational stability. Do note that the MatchKing only resembles an expanding hollow point bullet – it is not optimized for hunting applications.

This round is loaded to deliver its 1,087 fps muzzle velocity out of a 16” barrel. That puts it in the subsonic class, ideal if your rifle is equipped with a suppressor. Even without a can you can enjoy some mighty subtle performance with Red Mountain’s subsonic 300 Blackout ammo!
