This is the type of 300 AAC Blackout ammo that utilizes heavy bullets to keep muzzle velocities low. At 220 grains the bullet exits a rifle’s 16” barrel at a velocity of only 990 fps. That produces a quieter report even if you haven’t got a suppressor. If you have got a suppressor, then all the better! You’ll be a sneaky snake for sure.

You’re obviously not going to get the flattest trajectory in the world when you’re firing subsonic 300 Blackout, but this ammo still delivers superbly consistent accuracy – that’s because it’s loaded with Sierra’s MatchKing. The hollow point boat tail isn’t designed to carry out terminal expansion. Instead its wafer-thin concentric jacket, narrow tip, form-fitted lead core and angled boat tail all work in unison to improve balance and reduce drag!

This ammo is loaded for Colt by DoubleTap. The Utah-based manufacturer loads high quality components including brass cases and sensitive primers to support the awesome accuracy and precision of Sierra’s number one match projectile.
