This round sports a 148 grain full metal jacket projectile. The bullet’s silvery appearance comes from the cupronickel that its jacket is made of. While the bullet’s core is made of solid lead, that cupronickel is strengthened with iron or manganese means that these rounds will attract a magnet. This cartridge has a quality brass casing, and its primer is non-corrosive. Because the primer is the Berdan type does mean that you’ll have little use for this cartridge at a reloading bench once you’ve emptied it out.
