Aguila wanted to give this 308 some serious precision. Its 150 grain FMJ bullet is outfitted with a boat tail, which helps it to retain more of the velocity it needs to follow a flatter trajectory as well as brush aside the straying effects of cross and vertical winds. Its 0.393 G1 ballistic coefficient means this bullet shouldn’t become subsonic until it passes 425 yards.
Aguila’s one of the better foreign manufacturers. They don’t lower their overhead by including steel in their bullet jackets – this ammo doesn’t draw a magnet. They also implement new production brass cases and their own Non-Corr Boxer primers to make some impressively consistent target shooting and plinking ammo!
