The Ballistic Silvertip no longer features black Lubalox coating. It still has all the important touches though, including its drag-dodging polymer tip, extra thick jacketed base which keeps its boat tail profile intact under heavy pressure, and fully tapered jacket with a thin rim that splits open evenly when the tip presses against it. Big buck + big terminal expansion = big venison on the table.
The 150 grain Ballistic Tip has a G7 ballistic coefficient of 0.222. With 1.5” high sights and 200 yard zero, drop should be roughly: -7.8” @ 300 yds, -22.8” @ 400 yds, -46.2” @ 500 yds. Ballistic Silvertip bullets are made in Oregon, loaded in Mississippi with nickel-plated brass cases, and shipped fast to your home by the friendly and courteous Lucky Gunner gang.
