This cartridge is crowned with a 165 grain GMX projectile. The bullet is made entirely of copper alloy, so it fouls less and is totally compliant with California’s ammunition laws. The GMX sports a polymer tip which streamlines its aerodynamic profile, as well as a cannelure and pressure relieving grooves which limit its bearing surface. Upon impact the tip initiates expansion that will widen the bullet up to 1.5 times its original diameter. Because it is a monolithic bullet, the GMX has no core and jacket that are capable of separating -- that means no less than 95 percent weight retention during penetration, so you can drop heavy game right in their tracks.
