Copper isn’t a compromise! This 308 Win cartridge by Nosler is equipped with the state of the art E-Tip, a polymer tipped solid copper projectile which does much more than keep lead outside of your barrel and your favorite hunting grounds. It absolutely devastates its target as well!

This round’s 168 grain monolithic projectile has a boat tail and polymer tip. Its sleek spitzer profile levels its ballistic coefficient up to 0.503, so it retains adequate velocity to strike game with approximately 1,600 ft lbs of energy at 400 yards. That’s commanding power for hunting game as large as elk!

The E-Tip’s copper body makes it compliant with lead-free hunting regulations. It also prevents fragmentation that causes too shallow a wound channel – the E-Tip consistently retains more than 95 percent of its total weight when comes to rest in its target.

The E-Tip’s polymer tip drives down into its nose cavity during penetration to elicit wide terminal expansion, which is controlled over a great range of velocities by Nosler’s very own Expansion Control Ring technology. This bullet also features the E² Cavity, which is a dual-expansion chamber that promotes even more uniform terminal ballistics with every shot.

Nosler loads their high-tech hunting bullet in a virgin brass case, with modern explosive components that support its clean-shooting bullet with clean-burning ignition.
