This 32 S&W Long cartridge’s bullet is on the heavier end of the spectrum at 98 grains. As such its muzzle velocity is a mere 705 fps, so its bullet will drop the better part of 4” at 50 yards. (But hey, if you wanted a high velocity pistol round you’d have gone with something like 357 Sig or 5.7x28 instead.) This round’s lead round nose bullet lacks a brittle copper shell, so it’s slightly less likely to create splash-back when it hits a steel target head-on.

Performance WheelGun is Remington’s premium revolver ammo label. They give these rounds Kleanbore primers that threaten neither corrosion nor rust, as well as clean burning propellant to keep your forcing cone and barrel nice and clean. These rounds’ brass cases are also high quality, so be sure to eject them back into the box for future fun at the reloading bench!

The 32 S&W Long is also compatible with 32 H&R Magnum and 327 Federal Magnum revolvers. It is incompatible with 32 S&W Short, 32 Long Colt, and 32 ACP (aka 32 Auto) firearms.
