These .338 Lapua hunting cartridges from Corbon fire DPX polymer tipped hollow point bullets with a solid copper construction that penetrates deeply and expands into four petals for a quick, clean kill against elk, deer, and other midsize to large game. The polymer tip's ballistic efficiency provides extremely good accuracy.

Each round in this box of 20 fires a 265 grain projectile at a muzzle velocity of 2,800 feet per second from a 26 inch test barrel. This combination of a heavy bullet fired at a high velocity is typical for the .338 Lapua and delivers the impressive terminal effect (and recoil) that you'd expect from such a powerful cartridge.

This ammunition is loaded in Sturgis, South Dakota and uses reloadable brass and non-corrosive Boxer primers. Corbon's DPX series uses lead-free projectiles that are solid performers in their own right and can be used where lead-core ammo is prohibited.
