Speer offers this 357 SIG cartridge from their Gold Dot line of ammunition, which means its bullet has undergone a proprietary Uni-Cor electrochemical process to bond a uniformly thick jacket to its alloyed lead core. The enormous strength of that bond virtually eliminates separation of jacket and core to provide optimal weight retention upon impact, and it also conveys superior accuracy. This Gold Dot cartridge features a sensitive and reliable CCI primer, clean burning propellant that provides a consistent chamber pressure and optimum muzzle velocity of 1,350 fps, and reloadable Boxer primed brass casing with nickel plating for corrosion resistance and smooth feeding and ejection.

This cartridge’s 125 grain bullet’s hollow point cavity has been finely tuned for its caliber to provide optimal expansion within a target. Speer’s two part process for making this bullet establishes how far it can expand and at what rate. Their measured approach means this is a hollow point you can count on to reliably do its job.
