A: Hi Brian. thanks for the question. Typically the WC rounds are flush mounted with the case mouth. The projectile itself is designed with one and only one purpose. That is to be capable of cutting clean, easily scorable holes in paper targets. In addition to the design of the projectile, the velocity is typically lower than self-defense rounds since the slower a round, the more accuracy it is capable of.
Both BB and UW make rounds that are specifically designed for self-defense. This one, while useful, is not the best choice.
