Hotshot makes this 380 ACP ammunition to give you consistent, reliable performance while you’re hard at work at the shooting range. Heck, it’s just as good for even the most lighthearted backyard bottle blasting. Hotshot also made this ammo with the theory shooters like their money, and prefer to hang on to as much of it as they’re able.

Hotshot gave this round a conventional 91 grain full metal jacket projectile. That’s the one you want for training and plinking: It delivers ballistic performance just like a self-defense load’s bullet, but hasn’t got the hollow point that would have upped its overall price tag. Hotshot’s bullet has steel in its jacket in place of copper, a feature that further reduces costs but without impacting in-flight performance.

This ammo features steel shell casings. They too help to keep this ammo more affordable, and their primary trade-off is that they’re unsuited for handloading. Hotshot’s Berdan primers provide reliable ignition, and unlike older types of primers pose no threat of corrosive salts that could have rusted out a handgun from the inside. Their propellant is similarly clean burning and furthermore consistently loaded to produce steady muzzle velocities.

Steel shell casings offer an additional and often overlooked benefit. After you’re done shooting, you can clean up the area super fast so long as you own a a big magnet!
