Range is Remington’s most gently priced line of handgun ammunition. It gives you the same new reloadable brass cases and clean-sparking, reliable explosives as their UMC line. It just features plated FMJ bullets instead the tougher and more conventional variety. There’s really only one significant drawback to plated FMJs. They must not go through a ported barrel or compensator, or else the shooter risks facing bombardment with tiny, jagged fragments of copper.
We’re no jeenie-yusses here at LuckyGunner.com, but our brains work well enough to calculate the 95gr FMJ bullet’s G1 BC at 0.133. That stands for the following ballistics if the bullet hits its advertised muzzle velocity, and sight height above bore line is 0.8”:
0yds: 945 fps | 188 ft lbs | -0.8”
10yds: 933 fps | 183 ft lbs | -0.2”
20yds: 921 fps | 179 ft lbs | 0.0”
30yds: 909 fps | 175 ft lbs | -0.2”
40yds: 899 fps | 170 ft lbs | -0.9”
50yds: 888 fps | 166 ft lbs | -1.9”
