This 380 Auto cartridge is from Browning’s BXP line of ammunition and features a 95 grain X-Point projectile. When you look down the bullet’s hollow nose cavity, you will clearly see the “X” from which it takes its name. This serves to enable the bullet to penetrate medium barriers like thick fabric without parting with too much of its ability to expand widely within a threat. The X-Point’s formed metallic hollow point transfers its energy to within its target rapidly while mushrooming widely, creating a greater wound channel which is absolutely deadly when placed correctly.

This cartridge’s brass casing is plated with black nickel. That layer of metal makes feeding and ejection take place more reliably in a semi-automatic pistol, and prevents corrosion from reducing a round’s lifespan whether it’s sitting in a box or a magazine. Browning’s propellant and primer are equally reliable, making this round a fine little companion to have with you if your personal safety is ever put at risk.
