New for 2015, Fiocchi has produced a new line of cost-effective rounds that utilize copper-plated projectiles. Fiocchi calls these new plated rounds "Complete Metal Jacket" or "CMJ". These rounds are very similar to TMJ rounds in that the rounds are totally encased in a layer of copper (ie no exposed lead base). These rounds are more affordable than traditional TMJ or FMJ rounds because these CMJ rounds use a smaller amount of copper (though still very effective). This is possible by the chemical/electrical process known as electrolysis.

So, if you're looking for a great and affordable way to get to the range for cheaper, pick up a case of these 40 S&W 180 grain CMJTC (truncated cone) rounds. They will run in your 40 S&W caliber firearm the same as almost any FMJ or TMJ round although you might have a slight bit more lead fouling in your barrel as the lands in your rifling bite into the projectile.

As with all of Fiocchi's range ammunition, these rounds are non-corrosive and boxer primed in new reloadable brass cases.
