Competitive Cowboy Action shooters will be quite pleased with the performance of these .44 Magnum rounds from Ultramax. Ultramax is United States manufacturer with three decades of experience in providing ammunition to sporting and law enforcement circles. This cartridge profile is loaded for light recoil and has an antiquated appearance, both in round and carton, but exhibits the performance and accuracy of modern day ammo. Ultramax subjects their products to a ten-point inspection process in order to proof consistent lots and ensure excellent results on target.

Each .44 caliber cartridge utilizes a clean-igniting Boxer primer attached to the base of a reloadable brass casing. The round is topped with a 240 grain Lead Flat Nose (LFN) projectile with a rounded ogive that makes for smooth loading into cylinders and side gates. 240 grains is a common light weight for the caliber and offers extremely pleasant shooting with a muzzle velocity of 710 feet-per-second. Flat-nosed bullets are ideal for match use because they create clean, discernible holes in cardboard and paper for inarguable target scoring; the shape is also safe for storage in a tubular magazine.
