This cartridge is loaded with a 225 grain XPB: a solid copper hollow point that keeps the barrel clean, doesn’t contaminate meat, and exhibits the excellent weight retention requisite for “barrier blind” performance and deep penetration through flesh. No core/jacket separation from a bullet that hasn’t technically got either! The XPB also doesn’t mushroom. Instead it extends six flat petals to deliver a deadly energy spike whilst simultaneously raking out a wide wound cavity.
It doesn’t matter if you’re firing a semi-auto, revolver, or lever-action – they all benefit from low-friction and corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass cases.
