Developed by PolyCase Ammunition, the Inceptor ARX line of ammunition uses injection molded copper-polymer bullets that rely on hydraulic displacement rather than expansion to produce strong terminal performance. The ARX bullet is grooved to channel fluids at high velocity to produce high levels of cavitation and large wound channels to stop an assailant quickly and decisively. Due to its non-expanding profile, the bullet has a round nose that will feed reliably even in firearms that do not work well with hollow points.

Each .45 ACP cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 114 grain ARX bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,260 feet per second. Overall, this combination of a light projectile fired at a high velocity produces relatively low recoil for the .45 Auto and makes fast follow-up shots easier. This is a particular advantage in subcompact carry pistols that tend to produce unpleasant recoil with conventional +P ammo. ARX bullets are designed to reduce the risk of over-penetration and ricochet, a notable benefit in home defense situations.
