The BJHP, or brass jacketed hollow point, weighs in at 230 grains and matches the vast majority of proven, subsonic .45 ACP ammo.

Golden Saber projectiles use brass jackets which are harder than typical jackets made from copper gilding metal; the advantage in brass material comes in the form of intermediate barrier penetration with minimal deflection. A wide-mouth cavity surrounded by spiral-cut serrations offers massive expansion upon impact. As the bullet travels into a target, its expansion will cause it to yaw, carve out a larger wound cavity, and come to halt in more vital areas where it will pass on the bulk of its kinetic energy. This affects a higher "stop" rate while preventing lethal overpenetration.
