A: Hello Sheltie Kid! I must preface by acknowledging that *no* cartridge can eliminate the risk of over-penetration. That being said, the Xtreme Defender is engineered to minimize the risk of that undesirable possibility. The monolithic bullet's radial flutes exert its energy outward following impact, which in turn saps momentum the bullet would otherwise have applied toward forward penetration. As a matter of fact, because it lacks a nose cavity that might have clogged with debris, the Xtreme Defender can be argued to present a *lower* risk of over-penetration. Though I lack ballistics testing results to illustrate these claims, you can at the very least rest assued that Lehigh Defense designed the Xtreme Penetrator to avoid passing clean through the threat. Either of your firearms ought to handle this ammo effectively, too.
