1. Uninformed
2. Plum foolish
You, on the other hand, know what hunters have known for over a century. The 45 Long Colt will topple any American game so long as it’s skillfully aimed over a reasonable distance!
The 45 Long Colt’s set up for even greater success when the cartridge in question is a Remington Core-Lokt. This round’s a little juicier than average, with an 8% higher power factor than Remington’s Performance WheelGun 45 Long Colt target ammo (201.5 vs. 186.8). That helps its bullet fly flatter and hit harder (in addition to treating the shooter to stiffer recoil, but you can handle it).
Remington introduced their Core-Lokt as a rifle bullet way back in the ‘40s. They scaled its design down to a .45 cal JHP handgun bullet that still lives up to its predecessor’s reputation for reliable lethality. Looks real nice in its virgin brass case, which is nickel plated for smoother feeding and extraction in revolvers and lever guns alike. This ammo’s fine for anything that can chamber it, Judge and Governor included!
