This is not 45 ACP ammunition. It will not work in a 45 ACP firearm.

This cartridge is loaded with a 250 grain full metal jacket, with a flat nose profile that would enable it to (A) sit safely in a tubular magazine, and (B) punch a straight, clean hole through a hog’s tough body. The bullet is steel-free, so zero worries if you take it to a range that hates magnetic ammo!

Underwood’s American-made ammo includes two high-performance features: nickel-plated brass cases, which are more corrosion resistant but just as reloadable as regular non-plated brass, and low-flash propellant that won’t rob you of your vision if you ignite it at night.

Q: Is this standard pressure? Can you fire this out of colt single action army clones without damage to the firearm? (specific firearm in question would be a Heritage rough rider in 45 colt made by Pietta.)

A: Hello Cowpoke! This ammo is indeed standard pressure, and ought to be safe for any firearm that (A) can chamber it, and (B) is in good working condition.

Q: can these units be fired through thru ROA?

A: Hi Ron! That's for your conversion cylinder manufacturer to decide – not me. That said, it's my understanding that most conversion cylinders are only compatible with cowboy loads – i.e. 250gr bullet, 750 or lower muzzle velocity.
