A: Thanks for reaching out Mark! This ammo will not work in a Taurus Raging Hunter. I'm assuming your revolver is chambered for 500 S&W Magnum. 50 Action Express is actually designed for semi-automatic firearms, and cannot work in a 500 S&W Mag revolver despite having a .50 cal bullet. A: Thanks for reaching out Mark! Your AR500 is chambered for 500 Auto Max, which is essentially a rimless variant of the 500 S&W Magnum cartridge. (Unless you have a Model 89, which is chambered for 500 S&W Magnum and not 500 Auto Max.) That means the much shorter 50 Action Express will not work in your rifle. We have never stocked 500 Auto Max, which is a somewhat uncommon cartridge. Big Horn Academy recommends Buffalo Bore 500 Auto Max ammunition.
