The Dual Performance is a precision machined monolithic copper projectile. A copper bullet can’t deposit lead residue in a rifle’s barrel, and its perfectly balanced weight distribution and flowing profile both lend themselves to great accuracy. Ductile copper also exhibits the awesome weight retention which assures deep and deadly penetration.
But this lead-free bullet’s accuracy isn’t even the most exciting aspect of its performance. When its hollow point digs into soft tissue, the Dual Performance erects multiple sharp petals which creates a more effective terminal performance into whichever surfaces they meet. The Dual Performance is often loaded in self-defense rounds for this reason, although nearly everyone would agree that the 6.5 CM is simply too much gun for personal protection.
Black Hills is famous for loading military sniping ammo, and they reserve their Gold label for their finest work. Match brass cases, match Boxer primers, and clean-burning propellant to complement a clean-shooting projectile.
