This isn’t subatomic ammunition. It is Atomic’s subsonic 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition, a perfect choice for inconspicuous target practice, suppressor use, and varmint control around livestock that doesn’t appreciate very loud bangs.

This round’s bullet is match grade. The MatchKing features a ballistically efficient boat tail, ultra thin and concentric copper jacket, narrow meplat, and uniformly distributed lead core. Even with a relatively subdued 1,050 fps muzzle velocity, the MatchKing offers impressively consistent ballistic performance!

By keeping the sound barrier intact upon exiting the muzzle, this round’s bullet produces a far quieter report than usual. That means less work for a suppressor, as well as virtually imperceptible felt recoil. At 130 grains this round’s bullet still packs a decent punch, of course, and will offer terminal performance rather like that of a 40 S&W when it hits smaller game.

Atomic loads this subsonic cartridge with flash suppressed propellant, so even without a suppressor or flash hider you’ll experience less blinding light while hunting at dusk or nighttime. Please note that this ammo delivers the greatest accuracy out of a barrel with a 1:11 or faster twist, and also that Atomic did not intentionally design it to cycle a semi-automatic weapon.
