This round’s 140 grain projectile features a sleek polymer tip, optimally angled boat tail, and virtually perfect jacket concentricity. Once the 0.563 G1 ballistic projectile has attained a muzzle velocity of 2,700 fps, it will fly to a 400-yard target without having to rise higher than approximately 12.3”. The aerodynamic TGK will also strike a target at 629 yards with 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy, and it won’t undergo transonic destabilization until it has flown beyond 1,300 yards.
The TGK ensures deep penetration of game courtesy of its thick, hard copper jacket and durable lead-alloy core. Its emerald-green polymer tip begins to catalyze rapid yet highly controlled terminal expansion as soon as it makes contact with the quarry. But even if you’re only firing a TGK during target practice, you’re certain to appreciate it for its outstanding accuracy on its own.
