Winchester may load the AccuBond LR, but Nosler has the distinction of actually manufacturing it. They gave it a polymer tip, which is designed to remain undamaged during recoil so it can always provide the ABLR with a graceful frontal profile. The bullet also features a boat tail, which is why we use a 0.314 G7 ballistic coefficient to estimate its long-range performance (24” test barrel):
0yds: 3,020 fps | 2,876 ft lbs | -3.0”
100yds: 2,870 fps | 2,597 ft lbs | 7.1”
200yds: 2,724 fps | 2,339 ft lbs | 12.9”
300yds: 2,582 fps | 2,102 ft lbs | 14.0”
400yds: 2,444 fps | 1,883 ft lbs | 10.0”
500yds: 2,310 fps | 1,682 ft lbs | 0.0”
600yds: 2,180 fps | 1,498 ft lbs | -16.4”
700yds: 2,053 fps | 1,330 ft lbs | -40.2”
800yds: 1,931 fps | 1,176 ft lbs | -72.2”
900yds: 1,813 fps | 1,037 ft lbs | -113.6”

The ABLR delivers reliable expansion at impact velocity as low as 1,300 fps. This round’s 142 grain bullet retains at least that much velocity until around 1,380 yards. And because its jacket is bonded, it resists fragmentation so the quarry can really soak it in deep.
