Do you love Russian-made steel-cased 7.62x39 ammunition, but haven’t been able to find any lately thanks to a certain political administration’s ban on imports from Russia? Then we’ve got great news – possibly the greatest news you will receive all week. This Red Army Standard 7.62x39 ammo is just like the Russian stuff, but it is made in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan!

Steel cases. They aren’t reloadable, and they’re too inflexible to seal off the chamber during ignition like brass could have. But they do substantially lower this ammo’s production costs, and they feed and extract quite fluidly thanks to their lacquer coatings. Sealed primers and case necks give the ammo greater security in storage. Modern Berdan primers will not corrode your Kalashnikov!

This ammo’s 122 grain full metal jacket projectiles are guaranteed to attract a magnet. Their cores are lead, but their bimetal jackets are nearly entirely made of steel. Although that won’t affect performance, it does mean many commercial rifle ranges won’t let you inside with this ammo.
