Don’t know where the nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is? That’s OK! You don’t have to pack your bags for a fact-finding mission to Eastern Europe to experience the best that Bosnia and Herzegovina has to offer. We’ll send it to your doorstep instead!
This ammo is made by Igman: founded in 1950, and now an exporter to over 50 countries in five continents. We’re assuming that Antarctica and one other are excluded. North America hasn’t gotten left out, though, as evidenced by this fine 7.62x51mm ammunition – which is loaded to NATO’s M80 ball specifications – now sitting in our warehouse!
Many M80 rounds are loaded with full metal jacket projectiles that contain steel (and therefore attract a magnet, which precludes them from activity at more than a few gun ranges). Igman makes this ammo’s bullets out of lead and tombac (a fancy word for brass), so they are no more capable of affecting a magnet than they are of doing your taxes for you.
Igman loads military-grade ammo (which is a good move on their part, as many of their clients are militaries). You can easily tell as much, because this ammo is loaded with visibly annealed (albeit no less brand new or reloadable) brass cases, as well as noncorrosive Boxer primers that are sealed for added protection against water in storage.
These are individual boxes of ammo that we packaged in our own cardboard box. They are no different than what you would get straight out of Igman’s factory.
