We recently received a shipment of 7.62x51mm ammo from the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. That occurrence alone is not uncommon, but the ammo’s condition is considering that it just come out of its factory. We believe these rounds were not washed properly during their manufacturing process, and as the result have become tarnished.

These rounds still perform just as you should expect them to, and they ought to clean up easily. That means you can take advantage of Lake City’s oversight and get a whole case of their fine ammo at a significantly reduced price!

These are M80 ball rounds, with 149 grain full metal jacket boat tail projectiles. The bullets’ jackets promote clean shooting, while their tapered bases lessen the amount of drag they create in flight to provide a slight accuracy boost at longer ranges. These rounds’ casings are still military-grade strong brass underneath the tarnishing, and are both dependable and reloadable. Lake City’s non-corrosive Boxer primers won’t evince any aging if they’re stored properly!
