This 7mm Remington Magnum round is extremely moisture resistant. Its brass case is plated with nickel, so it not only generates less friction throughout chambering and extraction but further boasts superior corrosion resistance. This round’s primer and case mouth are also sealed watertight, so even if you drop it in a puddle it ought to remain ready to rock.

Its 150 grain CX bullet suits this 7mm Rem Mag cartridge even better for hunting. The CX is made of pure copper. Not only does it comply with certain jurisdictions’ hunting ammo laws – the monolithic bullet eliminates barrel leading, doesn’t taint meat, and loses no more than five percent of its mass throughout penetration to assure a deep wound channel.

The long, balanced and streamlined CX exhibits only very little drag in flight. Once it exits a 24” barrel at 3,000 fps it can brag about a 0.464 G1 ballistic coefficient, so it holds a flat trajectory and still carries at least 1,500 ft lbs of elk-toppling energy at 465 yards. On impact the CX’s hard polymer tip drives into its deep nose cavity, commencing high-speed expansion that kills humanely.
