Don’t worry! This isn’t “Military Classic” ammunition in the sense that it is archaic surplus. It was made recently, and it features multiple components that help you save $$$dough$$$.

You cannot fire this ammo at a gun range that prohibits “magnetic projectiles.” Although its full metal jacket bullets do contain solid lead cores and copper-washed exteriors, their jackets are almost entirely constructed from steel. Steel reduces the FMJ’s manufacturing cost (as does its light 115 grain weight), but again, it makes Wolf a no-go at nonmagnetic-only ranges.

You cannot handload this ammo’s cases. That’s not just because they are loaded with Berdan primers, which, in addition to reducing production costs, require two flash holes and external anvils that conventional component Boxer primers can’t work around. It’s also because rigid steel cases don’t snap back to their original dimensions immediately following ignition, in which condition they’re virtually unreloadable.

This ammo’s cases are polymer coated for friction reduction and corrosion resistance. Its Berdan primers are noncorrosive.
