Works just fine for target ammo and saves more than some extra wear will cost.
I know people bash steel cased ammo but for me this works 100% of the time and if I wear out a barrel a little sooner than I would would using different projectiles, I've saved enough in ammo to buy two barrels after thousands and thousands of rounds. I do not re-load, so that does not play into my calculus.
