GECO was founded by Gustav Genschow in 1887, merged with Dynamit Nobel AG in the 1960s, and finally became a part of RUAG in 2002. It’s been a long ride for the German company, but today their ammunition is utilized the world over for target shooting, hunting and tactical applications alike.

This is GECO’s basic 9mm range ammunition and optimal for any pistol or carbine – so long as it is chambered for 9mm, of course. The round’s simple 115 grain projectile consists of a solid lead core and gilding metal jacket. The nonmagnetic bullet contains no steel, so with it you’re good to go at any range. Loaded to a muzzle velocity of 1,214 fps, the FMJ maintains supersonic velocity until it has passed the 25 yard mark. Its accuracy is good for most any kind of conventional target practice, and the chamber pressure it generates is adequate to cycle any semi-automatic firearm.

GECO’s cases are similar to their bullets in that they are steel-free. This ammo’s brass cases are loaded with clean-burning powder and non-corrosive Boxer primers. Their durability suits them for repeated handloading.
