This round seats a 115 grain bullet. It’s a full metal jacket, a simple type of projectile that’s comprised of a balanced lead core and smooth copper jacket and nothing else. The FMJ feeds readily in a semi-auto, and keeps its barrel from quickly fouling during target practice. An FMJ doesn’t expand or otherwise create a wider wound cavity as it penetrates a living target. This isn’t to say you wouldn’t notice an FMJ if you got hit by one, but there are better self-defense bullets out there.
Remington is recognized as one of the world’s leading ammo manufacturers. Their UMC line is accessibly priced, yet doesn’t spare shooters the new production brass shell casings, clean igniting Kleanbore primers, and consistently loaded propellant they need to get the best return on investment for the time they spend at the range. This ammo is loose packed – open its case once, and that’s as open as it’s going to get!
