This 9mm cartridge is from Underwood’s Range Supply line of ammunition, and appropriately enough is loaded with a full metal jacket projectile. No fancy, expanding terminal performance that you wouldn’t want to pay to use at the range here – just a smooth feeding, clean shooting, and plenty aerodynamic lead core and copper jacket for stamping holes through paper. At 124 grains this round’s bullet is the middle weight that you’re inclined to find on a factory FMJ load, and loaded to a 1,175 muzzle velocity it’ll break the sound barrier before it continues on its way downrange.

Underwood exclusively implements components they call “top shelf,” and they ain’t lying. This round’s bullet is seated in a straight, concentric, and strong enough brass case for handloading, and its primer and propellant both spark up nice and clean and to a predictable effect.
