Want to be ready for a problem that only a handgun can solve? Pour a little salt on that slug with this 9mm +P cartridge by Underwood. Loaded with a jacketed hollow point bullet by Nosler to a high muzzle velocity of 1,225 fps, it’s one heckuva potent solution for self-defense!

This round’s 124 grain bullet is a highly engineered JHP. Nosler begins with a super-concentric copper jacket, which is tapered toward its base to promote consistent terminal expansion. They fill this jacket with molten lead, thus creating a rotationally stable form-fitted core. It all comes together to deliver the accuracy and the terminal ballistics you want from a bullet designed for hunting or personal protection.

Please do note that not all 9mm handguns are designed to handle the added chamber pressure of a +P round. Please check your weapon’s owner’s manual if you’re uncertain, or consult an expert.

This round’s brass case also supports more reliable performance, as it is nickel plated. Nickel resists corrosion, reduces friction for improved functionality in a semi-auto, and is even easier to see when you’re checking your chamber in poor lighting. Underwood’s self-defense round also features flash suppressed propellant, so a blinding muzzle flash won’t throw your eyes out of night vision mode!
