Speer’s all-new G2 ammunition enhances the highly effective Gold Dot projectile design using a simple yet crucial modification. These 9mm Luger rounds are loaded with hollow-point projectiles that are plated with copper via electrochemical bonding process. Unlike conventional plated bullets, Gold Dot G2s do not shed copper during firing and resist separation during target entry. The Gold Dot G2 bullet contains a small bit of elastomer filling in its hollow cavity which serves to shrug off barriers and prevent clogging. In effect, these bonded rounds will easily pass through intermediate barriers with very little deflection and still expand reliably in two-legged predators.

The 147-grain projectile weight chosen for this load matches numerous 9x19mm options and offers smooth cycling as well as a subsonic muzzle velocity for suppressed use. Upon impact, the bullet will begin expanding which helps it create a large, free-bleeding wound cavity before coming to a halt and transferring its energy to vital areas. Each projectile is crimped within a reloadable brass casing that is equipped with a non-corrosive Boxer primer and a thin coating of nickel. The nickel material reduces friction and makes feeding and extraction more dependable.
