Unlike conventional plated bullets, Gold Dot G2s do not shed copper during firing and resist separation during target entry. The Gold Dot G2 bullet contains a small bit of elastomer filling in its hollow cavity which serves to shrug off barriers and prevent clogging. In effect, these bonded rounds will easily pass through intermediate barriers with very little deflection and still expand reliably in two-legged predators.
